Dani Heringer (he/they) currently serves as Capacity Building Program Manager at San Francisco Community Health Center. Heringer was born and raised in the Bay Area. Heringer received their Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Queer Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University. Heringer's local and national work has been centered around policy advocation for LGBTQ+ populations, with a focus on Transgender and Gender-Expansive communities of color. His professional experience include LGBTQ+ health, policy and advocacy work surrounding substance use, homelessness, and transgender health care, qualitative and community-based participatory research, and capacity building and organizational learning.
