Filipino American History Month
San Francisco Community Health Center (SFCHC) proudly celebrates Filipino American History Month this October, honoring the cultural heritage, resilience, and vital contributions of the Filipino American community to San Francisco and the nation.
Organized by SFCHC’s API programs, The Lotus Project and Stop the Hate, this celebration embraces the national theme, “Empowering Our Community Through History, Health, and Healing.” As a health organization rooted in social justice and inclusion, SFCHC stands in solidarity with the Filipino community in the fight for health equity and cultural recognition—ensuring that their stories, struggles, and successes are seen and celebrated.
