The holidays can be a time of warmth, connection, and comfort, but for many in our community, they can also bring feelings of loneliness. In addition, this year has been challenging for so many in our LGBTQ+ and marginalized communities. Amid ongoing political attacks and uncertainty, coming together in love and solidarity feels more important than ever.
At San Francisco Community Health Center, we know that family are the people who see and celebrate you for who you are. This season, we are again opening our doors and hearts across all our major programs with holiday gatherings that honor the community we’ve built together. Whether you come to share a meal, reconnect with friends, or simply be surrounded by care, you are welcome here.

The Community Living Room invites you to A Grateful Gathering on Friday, November 21, from 2–4 PM at 730 Polk St. Come celebrate the season with delicious food, friendship, and cake for November birthdays. Friendsgiving Potluck — Hosted by The Lotus Project and Stop the Hate
The Lotus Project invites Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander LGBTQ+ community members to our Friendsgiving Potluck on Saturday, November 22, from 1–3 PM at 1460 Pine St. Bring a dish to share (or just bring yourself!) and gather in celebration of friendship, culture, and gratitude.
